CONTEXT:
- Levitt was an Amercian photographer based around New York.

- In 1937, she was teaching children art and become interesting in the chalk drawing they were created and purchased a leica and began photographing them.
- The resulting photographs were ultimately published in 1987 as In The Street: chalk drawings and messages, New York City 1938–1948.[4]
