Targets

New year resolution is:
- To complete all coursework to the best of my ability.
- To improve my technical skills in the darkroom
- To improve my skills on adobe photoshop.

Have you taken a broad range of  primary photographs for your exam theme such as digital AND film photographs? Are these on your blog?
Yes, I have tried to take a broad range of ideas relating to the the theme both with my digital and film camera. As of yet i haven't not uploaded my film photographs I am in the process of creating a mounted for experimentations but have uploaded my current digital ones.

Have you explored and developed your ideas imaginatively? How have you demonstrated this?
I have tried to really think about the theme in-depth and come up with an non-obvious approach as i think this will make the end result much more interesting and thought provoking.

Have you researched a diverse range of artwork and completed this on your blog? Who have you analysed? Is your analysis in-depth?i have tried to research different rang of photographer who specialised in different topics to be inspired and also tried to be as in- depth as possible. Also analysis completed so far have been uploaded to my blog.

Have you experimented with a wide range of techniques both handmade and computer generated? Which techniques have you used? I have tried to improved my editing skills and improving my images after they have been taken. With my digital images i have later then editing them with both photoshop and picnik, another editing software. With my film photographs, i have tried different techniques in the darkroom such as masking, multi - exposures, and photograms over lapping. I have also tried to combine 3 techniques with multi - exposer and over text with tracing paper as playing around with the results. As of yet i haven't uploading these onto my blog.

Have you refined / developed your outcomes through experimentation? How?Each time i take a photograph, i try to refine and improve it through experimentation and combining techniques to produce interesting results. With my digital images, i have go onto the computer and reviewed the image and then come up with a way of improvement and done so through editing software. Throughout my progress and my experimentation i will carry on trying to improve my work therefore having the best outcome that i can

Have you written in detail about your experiments and developments on your blog and used this information to help you improve? For my digital images i have given them a caption with a brief summary of the topic. As my film images are not uploaded onto the blog, i am not able to give a detail description of what i have done to get the final outcome.

Have you taken imaginative leaps/ shown a sense of discovery/ willingness to take risks in your work? If so how? If not, how can you do this? i have tried to take risks in the darkroom by selective and cropping images and zooming in, trying to combine multiple techniques in order to get interesting effects. I would still like to try and do reversals from my negatives and other techniques i have yet to learn.

Have you shown enthusiasm and imagination in your work? If so, how? If not, how can you make changes to do this? i have tried to show thoughtfulness through my work and try and symbolise there is emotion behind each image. I tried with all my negatives to be imaginative but also tried to be simplistic in my results. Trying to make the images too complicated could go the other way,

Have you created work that is exciting and original? If so, how? If not, what can you do to improve this area? I have tried to come up with my own techniques with combining them and get different original results. I will also try get create more original work using photo shop

Have you annotated your blog thoroughly throughout? Honestly, probably not to my full potential and there's something i yet need to improve with future work that gets uploaded.

Have you practised with your exam outcomes by creating mock-ups? Are your outcomes skilful/ well constructed? i am still in the experimenting stage and have a rough ideas of what i want to do. as of yet i haven't put this into practice and something i need todo before the exam.

Have you created an exam plan? At this stage, no i haven't.

2. Use the feedback to create SMART Targets for you to realistically achieve BY NEXT LESSON. This way if you stick to your targets you will definitely move forward. I will check your targets during the next lesson to see if you have met them.

By next lesson i will have a mind map of ideas of how i wish to present my final out and a plan of when i plan to put this into practice.
